  1. In aviation Cladosporium Resinae is a known issue - as diesel and aviation fuel are very similar, is the bug too ?
  2. Here is the morning petrol forecast ( on the commute @ 06:30 ): Wroxham, Jet. - depression, no stock Tesco, Blue Boar, - stock, queues building, occasionally heavy, back to main road Esso, ring road - depression, no stock Apple Green, Firs Aylsham Road - stock, queues building, moderate, back to traffic lights
  3. Probably having to pull them back from OPs or post deployment leave. Military MT are thin on the ground these days with much done by Civvies or reservists
  4. Darn - got my hopes up there
  5. They should have built a roundabout at that junction, but lights would be next best option I think. Getting out of Tesco to turn right can be a nightmare ( as you are well aware I guess )
  6. Managed to fill up on the way home. 12 gallons - will last me a week
  7. Well, I left home before six this morning to get to the airport for work. Tried to get fuel at Tesco Sprowston and the queue was back to the second roundabout, I have a job to do, so can't wait for an hour. Went via mousehold trying the three on the inner ring road / Aylsham road and they are all empty. I have enough fuel for one more trip to home / work and that's it. Oh, the job ? Supporting the offshore industry
  8. I knew I should have filled last night. Be housebound by Monday if I can't get some fuel. I do 500 miles + a week and there is NO public transport from Barton Turf
  9. If you are near Wayford you could try Vera's Coffee Shop in Meales farm shop on the A149 to Stalham. Could aslo walk from Barton across the fields to Wayford Bridge and on.
  10. The great thing about KiwiGrip is it's acrylic, so if you buy white you can simply tint it just about any colour you want with easily available dyes.
  11. I used Peelaway 7. It's a paste you trowl on, cover with a poly sheet, leave and peel off. You will probably then have to wash off any residue. My 1985 yacht was on it's third non slip coat. The stripper removed the top 2 totally, and about 60% of the original first layer - more than sufficient for me to appy KiwiGrip Oh - and I belive you can get trial pots if you want to run a test
  12. Occasionally chatted to Harry at the sailing club, and I think the eel catcher would be the old boy who died a few years back. Had to tow him into Barton one night when his engine failed.
  13. He was goosing the girls - now frowned on
  14. Wouldn't be the first time I've pointed that out to hirers .....
  15. One of only two listed ( or always was ) The other is over the Bure between Coltishall and Buxton ( by the S bends over the railway heading for the tip )
  16. Another reason not to go to the City. They have almost totally lost my custom over the last few years due to their obvious anti car policy
  17. You trace them, eventually you get them to Court. They get a small fine, that they can't pay as they have no income. Cycle starts again
  18. No problem with the event generally, but the route past my house, a narrow village road coming down hill with a bend, and the lead packs were doing around 30 ( compared with car over same distance ) Not a good choice of route.
  19. You’ve been busted on the FB page - credit to Al Fisher
  20. Ooops - missed it. Admin please merge / remove
  21. Or an old one coming back ? https://www.edp24.co.uk/news/business/plan-to-restore-dilham-lake-to-norfolk-broads-8230340?fbclid=IwAR33XimY1F3cvXkWbE4Q6NJfQdoZ_VpgVLCc5RfgFaspMelm9up8D-y3ouU
  22. Along either side outside the channel you've got around 6 feet until close to the edge
  23. Trouble is getting access to dust with PFD developer
  24. Two years, two soggy years of pumping water from under the cabin floor every time it rains. Having been chasing leaks around the back / cockpit ( which were certainly there ) pulling and reasealing all the keel bolts one at a time ( 10 each side and a previous source of leaks ) and finally found it to be getting in round the pulpit rail ! After the weekend / yesterdays rain I failed to get any out
