  1. 100% OTT rag statement nice right up Neil looks like you enjoyed your week John
  2. Independence and her crew just passed us on Oulton dyke looking very clean and smart even with a few dodgy Donny boys on the front ! John
  3. It depends what system is fitted I guess, we have a Vetus toilet / flush system with 2 buttons an eco and longer flush and will get a week with 2 of us without needing to empty. It seems to be a pretty big tank which obviously helps. John
  4. It says on their website they are only doing the bar menu this season due to chef shortage, which seems to be a recurring theme around the area. As the misus use to be a hotel chef it is defiantly a case of bad hours (split shifts ) and poor pay so I guess not enough trainees are getting through to fill the shortages. John
  5. They were doing a couple of weeks ago as we had a nice meal there. Not the cheapest place around but nice food and great setting. One of our favourite places after a stress full day at work, nice run down the river from Brundall and back. John
  6. Might just do that Mark as going to Brundall tomorrow to look at boat, last day off before back at work Wednesday . John
  7. Hi Mark we saw your boat on the hard standing at Nya, have you been having her super charged ! John
  8. Ah a new sedan give us a clue Clive is it going to be like the Broom 35 sedan (aquafibre hull)? John
  9. Well if all the fishermen stayed on the environment agency land were they think they pay their money to and give us all a smile Broadland would be a happier place, but alas it’s the boaters that have to pay the tolls and the fishermen resent them being there who pay nothing. (How much is a fishing licence again ) John
  10. Gunton arms is on the way up to Cromer, nice quality food place worth a visit. John
  11. I had a drive on the new finished part this morning (missed the turning day dreaming on the way home this afternoon ) All looks good, a great asset in my opinion. John
  12. The last section of the NDR from the Poswick junction to the Wroxham road will be open on Monday evening, so the road home from work should be better. John
  13. Really sorry to hear this as others I was only fearing the worst having not heard from him for a while. He was an honest and sencere person who will be greatly missed. John
  14. Hi Clive has the new C405 gone over to Northern Ireland for the fit out ? John
  15. Sounds a lot of osmosis for a 16 year old boat, I would say it may have been a problem when the gel coat was done possibly temperature/ moisture in the building it was built. We had the same situation on our last boat We got a 7k reduction in cost which we wouldn’t have had without having a survey. John
  16. No not yet Steve , it’s open from the Wroxham rd roundabout up to the current end the other side of Taverham. The rest to connect to the A47 is not far off now possibly 4 weeks although the weather last week put them back a bit. John
  17. I use this road now on the way to work every day and it is a great asset to the area, but the roundabouts having 3 lanes is defiantly a stupid idea and everybody who I’ve spoken to agrees. Can you tell me your optician then I can get some special glasses from them . John

    My Day

Not great at all around the Salhouse area, I tried to get on to the A47 through Little Plumstead but has to turn back. It's the wind causing the snow drifts across the fields , also quite bad the other direction pass the church to Wroxham. At the moment the area has no water as I think there is a large burst somewhere in the area so no toilets showers etc! All good fun. John
  19. Good luck cleaning them! that looks like a falcon 27 me thinks It looks like it is going to be a nice weekend so I have my cleaning head on to get rid of a bit of winter grime. John
  20. Any one on a Late night visit to there boat there is an Advance warning sign of road closure at the railway junction sat 10th Feb 8pm to 8am. John
  21. Don’t think it was there this morning John
  22. Good decision Griff and Robin Hope to see you in Brundall tomorrow we have a run to Donny tomorrow (to pick up new puppy ) then back home to Norfolk hopefully for your arrival John
  23. Although on a bigger scale on Indy, on our electronic throttle / Yanmar engine there are 2 screws for adjustment 1/ to adjust throttle response 2/ to adjust the amount of pressure you need to put on the lever . This is found on the front of the base control. John
