If you are unsure which way the tide is going, just put the throttle into tickover. If it feels like the brakes are on you are against the tide. If you do not appear to be slowing you are with the tide. paul

Helen, after I fitted the house out with smart plugs/ led lights. Jill now sits in the lounge and before going to get ready for bed she say Hey G......le switch on blanket then as she goes down to bed, switch on bedroom light, gets into bed then tells all to switch off! I now feel redundant. Yes I said goes down to bed, we live in an upside house. Enjioy your trip. paul -

Have tried a single strand of domestic 13amp cable or maybe 5amp, and use the heat shrink tubing for insulation? Have done this up to 6 volt levels but I could get away with 2 layers of heat shrink. paul

Far too tidy for any work being done. Here's my tidy bench. One of the tools I bought on the 28 Oct 1972, after the 1st 3 weeks of my apprenticeship and I had been told I was being let loose to work alone so I went out and bought a load of tools, these are all I kept when I retired 41 years later!

Main to rememder is you have retired from work NOT life! paul

Retirement is not what it is cracked up to be! For a start you lose all your holiday entitlement. Takes about 2 years to realise you can finish that urgent task later, work won't have to come first. Enjoy and remember others do still work so cannot play when you can. paul
