  1. Good afternoon all, I am passing on the below flood alert for your awareness - anecdotal reports suggest localised flooding is already affecting roads, paths and settlements in the Broads area. The Environment Agency has notified that there is a flood alert in place along the tidal River Yare from Thorpe St Andrew to Breydon Water. Flooding is possible for the tidal River Yare, from Thorpe St Andrew to Breydon Water including Brundall, Cantley, Reedham and Burgh Castle. This message has been issued because there is a possibility of some minor flooding to riverside roads and footpaths tomorrow morning, Saturday 26 September 2020. Current forecasts predict water levels will peak around Brundall at 07:45am tomorrow morning. High water levels may last for a few days until the high tides at Great Yarmouth have passed. High water levels may also be observed on Sunday 27 September. Please take care on waterside roads and footpaths and don't put yourself in unnecessary danger. Take into account the water levels whilst mooring up and remember to call Broads Control on 01603 756056 if you require assistance. The Environment Agency are monitoring the situation and will issue further advice if there are any additional updates. See flood alert: https://flood-warning-information.service.gov.uk/target-area/054WATBT2 Kind regards, Tom Tom Waterfall Senior Communications Officer Broads Authority 01603 756034 Broads Authority, Yare House, 62-64 Thorpe Road. 3. It looks like a bodge to me, but if you can not get the correct blades, Roys DIY sell various rubber blades to fit on your wipers, we had to do this on Ranworth Breeze which has very long wipers.

  7. Take a large fleece to cover the bed, any condensation will form on the fleece which can be dried off during the day.
  8. Hello Ian, On out of season weeks I plug in one of the lower wattage (500 or 600 watts) oil filled radiators and leave on overnight on a low level on the stat overnight, this keeps the condensation at bay. we have additional fan heaters just to keep warm and there is always the diesel heating. Regards Alan

  17. The news this morning has bigger implications than hire boats redistricting down to six berths. What will happen to the pubs that are working within the previous corvid rulings, how will this effect the return back to schools and how will this effect supermarkets and shops in general. Many Community Centres and village halls have only just started to open again after planning secure Corvid 19 guidelines.
  18. Have a word with Alex Fraser, he does our servicing and many other boats at Tingdene. Regards Alan
