I think today is going to be the worst day for tracking as they are a good few miles offshore crossing the bay there - nearly 20 miles offshore.

Due to leaving Plymouth 20 mins late and now a strong tidal stream against us, increased rpm to 2500. Now we are burning dyno’s eta at Weymouth 1630

I may be missing something, but presumably when we can't "see" her via AIS, then other vessels can't either. Of course they should be keeping watch and using radar, but we all know they don't always do so.

Still making 9.7 knots according to AIS.

15.30 looks to be very unlikely unless the AIS is slow.

Seems more like 16.00hrs.

Wow, huge wave knocked us over on our port side just off Portland ledge between the Shambles - Awesome. Sea state now calming down. Only making 9kts OG now due to tide
