Well we are under way, Acle bridge inn at Lunchtime, then a trip down to Breydon where we headed across in line abreast, with a fifth boat at the end of the line (the rangers were keeping an eye on us). Our destination had been somerleyton, but half way across Breydon, somebody remembered that the pub there was currently shut, so St Olaves and the Bell Inn were selected for our evening stop.the step back onto the boat is quite a big one and we have one leg overboard getting back on the boat so far, and half of them are still in the pub.

Nice to see you all ‘of sorts’ as we passed outside Ferry Marina, I have no doubt you didn’t know who the idiot that was waving madly at you all.

thanks to Howard for letting me know Charlie was on the last boat.

Trust you guys all made it back to potter/stalham safely.

James I believe it was me on jewel 2 that told you Charlie was on our ship ( ship 3 in line )

Yes it was, sorry the excitement got the better of me! Good to see you all though, like I say if only in passing.

So you’re all at Acle Bridge tonight? That was Wednesday’s mooring for us, last night was South Walsham but Ems fancied some more driving practice so we spent a couple of pints (hours) at Thurne on the (sort of) way.

home now, a bit of a boo-boo I topped the water on the car up, drove all the way home then got stuck in traffic and steam started coming out of the bonnet, I had forgotten to put the cap on, I pulled over, and the cap was still on the top of the engine where I had left it, so I put it back on, not wanting to flood the engine with cold water, so finished the last 2 miles home, the temp gauge still said normal, so I may have got away with it, will check later.
