Getting Provisions

Is it easy getting your Provisions around the Broads shops? Due workers are Isolated with this Ping telling the people to go into Isolation.

We’ve been out for 3weeks now and no problems anywhere so far. I’ve shopped in Morrison’s in Norwich, Tesco’s in Beccles and the Coop in Loddon. The Coop did seem to have a shortage of green veg and the meat shelves were a bit sparse so they may have been experiencing delivery difficulties. Of course I may have just picked the wrong time to shop!

Ever tried Bovril instead? I made a mistake once and spread Bovril on my toast and was pleasantly surprised.

I much prefer Vegemite, reminds me of Oz!

I've changed to Bovril when once I couldn't get Marmite. I've stayed with Bovril, as so much easier to spread

they did warn of a shortage of Marmite on Look East a few weeks ago due to the breweries reducing the amount of beer being brewed due to covid 19

Oddly enough I can take it or leave it.

The village independents seem OK too ( as they were in the first lockdown) ! 

Lathams & the other QD Stores around the area & the other cut price sheds never ran out of Loo Rolls either - most made a feature of them as they started to re-open

The farm shop close to Wayford Bridge has remained open but the tearoom there, Vera’s, had to close for a week because too many of their staff were pinged. They assured customers that it was not likely to have affected them. I think they reopen today.

Try this!

Mix Marmite with cream cheese and spread it on whatever you want to. Really scrummy!

The one I really don't get is Marmite peanut butter. It's expensive and for me the two just don't work, but if you like it then your better of just using your peanut butter of choice and adding as much Marmite as you want on top.
