I've been enjoying holidays on the broads since I was a teenager which seems like yesterday but the calendar says otherwise.

I prefer taking zig zag routes rather than going straight as that way you get to enjoy more of the river

I think Warp means that he is a Saily not a Stinkie Gracie. Not that he can't steer straight. The Ant on a Saturday afternoon is full of Stinkies Zig Zagging. Takes a little while to settle back into it.

Yes we used to get the length of tha Channel, both sides, and across the North Sea.

We didn't really bother about the weather after we were caught out in a F9 in mid-North Sea.

Yup Salhouse can whip up a vicious wind across the moorings even had the 'anchor' drag there once... Had to chuck another one out to save our souls or at least some varnish...

I always find that I have to look up to see motor-only types (MOT). Except maybe day boats can look across to those.

I do get this odd thing from MOTs like they think I'm 'putting on airs' for choosing sails...

I guess SOTs are a bit fanatical so I find myself MOST in the middle

No fanatic here, but I find quanting easier than starting an outboard, did I mention that I don't like outboards much?
