Sadly you don't always get the choice ....... some people don't get their 1st choice school (maybe walkable) and have to settle for 2nd or 3rd choice which maybe a bit too far for tiny legs.

I have a smart phone (yes even me) but the screen is so small i find it difficult to do anything on it. I went to the most "grump inducing store ever" Ikea to pick up a purchase and was directed to the computer thing to register that I had arrived. Inspite of there being three helpers doing nothing I had to grapple through the meaninless form. Having finally completed it it said NO NO NO you have entered an invalid mobile phone number!! A helper finally sussed out that maybe I was having difficulty letting them no that I was there and pointed out that I should enter a mobile phone number instead of a home line. WHY i foolishly ask ..... so we can text you when your package is at the counter. BUT I'm here, waiting for the package, you can tell me face to face that the package is here. Yet another unpleasant visit to the most mystifying, grump inducing place ever .....

Be very afraid ..... we are moving into a world where it will be inadvisable to pass pleasantries lest they be construed as unwelcome advances!!!

Not a night to be moored up alone in the wilds of Norfolk. Strange things lurk in the shadows, are those shrieks animals? Those creepy footsteps that pass by your boat in the dead of night leaving no trace in the muddy path!! Many like to boldly announce that it's a load of twaddle but believe me, on the cold, desolate marshes, strange un-earthly things occur ........ us norfolk folk might pretend to be devout christians but on All Hallows Eve ........ we cavort in wild places showing due reverence to those ancient forces of Evil ..... Whoooeee!!

Bows to mooring is the norm for hire boats in Greece/turkey. Point the boat towards the quay, Lob the anchor/chain over the stern, When attached to the quay tighten anchor chain to keep bows off the quay. However with this method the anchor lies some way from the boats stern.

I may be wrong but wasn't the tragic drowning in the little broad outside the cordened off "safe swimming" area? This has led to a no swimming order. Whilst i don't doubt that the broads at Whitlingham are deeper than most existing broads they are no more dangerous to life than the rivers or Broads of the existing system.

Putting aside the politics I still feel that whitlingham country park provides an attractive environment, on Norwicj's doorstep, for people who want to experience that "Broadland" experience complete with safe, spacious watersport facilities. I suspect that many more people enjoy this space now than under it's previous guise as grazing marshes. I very much doubt that anybody would create such a facility without some kind of monetery return.

Inconsiderate parking on pavements that force cyclists onto the road in order to pass the vehicle.

I'm not sure if you like/dislike Whitlingham country park but I think it is a great asset for Norwich and I have spent many happy hours walking around it.

Couldn't agree more .... Patsy certainly knew how to run a successful pub.

I have tried really really hard to think of something that annoys me but can't think of a single thing. I'm happy and love everybody!!
