  6. Hi Jean, School holidays throughout the country present issues for boat syndicates where they operate on drawn weeks rather than fixed weeks. Because school holidays especially the summer holiday weeks vary from county to county we have to check out the holidays dates well in advance so for our draw last November we needed the holiday dates for 2018. If only the holidays were standardised we could get away from these issues, where we live our catchment area is in Sheffield, North East Derbyshire and Rotherham so you can guess the Easter holidays cause problems. Regards Alan
  7. Welcome to the NBN forum Dave. Regards Alan
  8. I agree a great review, the boat had many interesting features. I could see issues with the table however with the movable helm seat, tables with sharp corners could result in bruised thighs. When the table is fully open the raised hinges are a problem and would require different hinges or they need to be recessed. The storage is good, you can never have too much storage on boat. Keeping the air draft low will help protect those solar panels, these certainly help maintain the batteries on this boat, it would be interesting to know how many batteries are aboard. Regards Alan
  9. Hi Robin, I only phoned up earlier to report the boat that was listing at Brammerton, it seemed an ideal time to also toll the boat. I went partially through the motions of paying the toll on line a few weeks earlier, with unfavorable results, needless to say I was going to wait until the last week. I am sorry to hear of your family issues that you are having to deal with, it is never easy trying to deal with everything and fit in work as well, you feel as if you are pulled in all directions. Regards Alan
  10. In our early boating days we used to buy Smedleys sausage roles that were in a tin, oven baked they were a great option on a boat. Regards Alan
