CambridgeCabby
As consent was previously given by the photo taker I have attached pic which leaves no doubt to what is being charged for . you may need to zoom in
CambridgeCabby
Have noticed there is not clear enough definition on this pic , probably due to my software , have attached fuzzy blow up
thingamybob
The answer is, just don't moor there. Personally I never pay mooring charges or indeed, parking charges for my car. If a business or a town wants my valuable custom then I moor or park for free. If they want to charge I simply go elsware where my custom is appreciated.
Chelsea14Ian
My question is who is charging then for moorings?however I would not moor there anyway.Always stay at the New Inn
JennyMorgan
What an eyesore that thing is. Wonder what that planning department thinks about it?

Snowy, yes, you have read it right. Not a welcome move in my opinion. They didn't read the instructions on the tin, they clearly state; "do not apply when the water is wet"

The Norfolk Broads is not Ibiza.

marshman
Not much bigger than an electricity post - presumably then private land owners who erect one of those would require PP too??
rightsaidfred
Yes the Guy who installed the electric post at Ludham Bridge had to make a retrospective application, and boatyards have to include it in their applications. petersjoy
Looks like you can only pay by card. No way would i do that!! If you don't pay what are they going to do, Clamp you? 2
ChrisB
Does it also cover parking your car there? I sometimes go down there to eat my sandwich when I am having a drive that way. To put it in perspective Lymington Marina (one I know well) is £3.85 WEEKDAYS £4.00 WEEKENDS. per metre. So a 9metre or 30footer is £36 a 50ft would be £60 per night and Lymington is middle of the road price wise on the South Coast.

Broads01
I don't resent paying for a mooring, provided the charge is reasonable which, more often than not it is. However, on the basis of the photos this meter is an ugly structure which will detract from the aesthetics of the location. I'll avoid mooring there.
