Hockham Admiral
BROADSLADY sounds better as it goes with the BROADSMAN At least you didn't suggest BROADLADY, Mike! :naughty:
ZimbiIV
I think it is going to be called BROADSIDE only for hire to those with a wooden leg, parrot and eye patch. paul
Broads01
It will be fab to see the new boat when complete, whatever the name! Now I'm sure it will need thorough on water testing before being released to the paying public. I would be more than happy to volunteer my services for no charge! BroadScot
Hi Boatmad, the mould is having its 'woods' made and bonded on, this is to strengthen and stop the mould from flexing or distorting, we are also experimenting with a new (to us) way of turning the moulding over by spinning the mould 180 degrees and dropping the moulding onto a trailer then spinning the mould back round.. I have not taken any photos for a few weeks as it all looks a bit the same... not long now though!! Horizon craft will have some new boats next year, we are having a swap about with a few boats but I will tell you all about that soon enough! The last paragraph may answer a question asked elsewhere today. Iain.

C.Ricko
Been a while as I don't think the pictures of the tops being moulded are that interesting, but, here we have the superstructure after the mould has been released, we will use the plug to make the top seating and the plugs for the rear window plants as well as the 'wings' for the side steps... in one of the pictures you can see the outline of one of the windows. The mould is being sanded and polished ready for moulding, the window plants and the add ons for the sunroof and side door are being fitted as are the plants for the decking material.....
