The car park holds about 20 cars, there's usually spaces.

 

I think I may have underestimated the capacity, I rode past it this afternoon and it looks more like thirty to me now.

Thanks Strow, i used google maps to plot our route from the A47, which is very straightforward, though getting back to suffolk is going to need some written notes so i don`t forget.

Hi John... is there any specified time for arrival at Salhouse on Friday and where are we mooring.... managed to escape to our boat at Potter thursday evening so may night nav to Salhouse late thursday night and mudweight or might catch up with Martin and Carol(littlesprite) friday morning and trundle along with them.

Both have PMRs and go with the flow for radio channel if that helps.

Jonzo has organised, with the Salhouse Ranger, where we are mooring.

 

As you go in, facing the far bank, it's usually the right hand moorings we use. It should be taped off as "Reserved" (?? Jonzo??).

 

We will arrive about 09.30 - 10.00 from Wroxham, so if you're after that you'll see where we are.

Well, here we are tucked snugly away in Barne Brinkcrafts "yard" and getting ready to leave just before 8 o'clock.

 

 

We'll be tied up and waiting to greet friends new and old by 8.30. 

 

The forecast's not quite as bad as it could be and isn't as bad as the Summer meet at Beccles 2 years ago when we braved really tropical downpours under the NBN "Marquee"!

Sorry to be a party pooper, but we have to call off.  We have to work all weekend on a major upcoming business deal.

Great weekend with fantastic company...... even learnt to put up a tent and take it down again in the wet which was also converted into a washing line for one lucky couple.... was even allowed to play out till 22.30hrs.
