  6. from googling it sounds as if the time zone map may have been corrupted, so that pc cable would be needed, though it may be tricky to find one.

  13. many thanks Jay for the update. (and I am sure Gracie would see the funny side of the next bit) Maybe a crutch or walking stick would be better and free them up to take better care of him

How about the lads week then, generally we were plenty oiled up through the whole week, but then we did not get to the point where there was nobody left in a fit state to skipper the boat, and were generally pretty quiet when returning from the pubs late (They must have been - they didnt wake me up as I generally returned earlier) I am sure we brought good trade into the pubs we visited. we left the yard with no complaints, but we did leave a snagging list of minor non issues (such as tired springs on door catches etc)
  15. just as i said, all that is needed is a bit of lubrication.
  16. Ah my old BMW R80RS was a good bike for distances, after 8 hours riding you could still walk. (and it was no slouch covering a lot of distance in those 8 hours either)

  18. are they the ones you stop to tighten the bolts every 20 miles?
  19. I take the 3 in 1 sachets when camping or boating, it saves having to store milk, just add water.
