  7. Hi just a question. Have you considered St Olaves bridge? Not an easy bridge with or against the tide. I would leave asap but be aware outside of the Breydon posts it is still not deep, so please no short cuts paul
  8. According to the eco worriers (sic) leccy is the cleanest, but where it comes from may not be, the main thing that bothers me is not the posts but the idiots that leave cables hanging etc. We hook up if available for ease and comfort sometimes there is enough left in the meter sometimes we leave some on the meter so what. Electric boats like electric cars will never work until battery technology improves. The distance between the posts is just down to a planner who has all the qualifications but no common sense. To go back to the as it should be boating brigade GET ASTRIDE YOUR LOGS. paul
  9. Thanks for the replies I had not thought about noise. Andy depth is not a problem it vents above the worktop so should be ok. Will look into this a bit more. paul

  13. Why do sailies pay less tolls when they use much more of the river over a given distance? I shall now retire to my own private bomb shelter. paul
  14. Admiral Totally agree. paul

  21. VSC means safety car rules apply immediately ie slow down now and wait for the safety car to come out to play. Lewis wasn't robbed the team made a tactical error so a german in a german car could win in front of the german directors! I am not a CYNIC, okay maybe a lot. paul
  22. My tip next time it is dry and you are on board, squirt talc around and keep checking for water trails. Mind you a split, I could not see without a glass, emptied 80 litres into the bilge over night. paul
