  1. Take it from me, if you forget that it is in your pocket and you lay down on the floor because the job requires it, you do know what end is which.
  2. Anything under £150, cut your losses and walk away.
  3. Last time I was on the broads it always seemed at the bins that recycling didn't come into it, hopefully that has been sorted!
  4. The broads should be restricted to boats, fisherman on the bank and the little craft like day boats. For me swimming in the broads is a no no(unless of course I fall in) so along with paddle boarding it should be kept to a confined area like a lake, as these two don't mix well with possibly intoxicated boaters. I personally wouldn't like to swim in any river and any water sports that differ from what I think the broads should be used for, should be in a controlled area.
  5. I can see that happening with the bath tubs of today that they are renowned for, but at the moment I believe they are good for hiring if you are on a budget. Although the way I see it with people upcycling out of date plane fuselages to train carriages and sticking them in their garden, it won't belong before someone will transform one of those boats and have the biggest and slightly weird hot tub in Britain.
  6. It might be legit, as this bit of the email got me thinking. But as they say, check out the email address before replying. Don't forget your email can be hacked from any country, and people travelling will try to access their email accounts from different parts of the globe, so these email providers have to be careful.
  7. How about doing some commentary like the other channels on youtube?
  8. I know that, but by what BA is saying, it doesn't seem to apply to some!
  9. I can see why boatyards provide a webcam because for me, and the wonderful views and pleasure I get from the HB webcam, I am more than likely to book with them on my next hopeful boating holiday than with any other boatyard.
  10. Can you post your reports on this investigation on this website, or do we have to look elsewhere for updates on another website?
  11. With the quality led floodlights you can buy now, anyone can feel that they have the confidence to cruise at night!
  12. Unfortunately for spiders the vacuum cleaner is the best thing. I find that if you leave them to exist, it encourages more to move in.
  13. Now that has given me an idea Grendel. If I ever own a boat and cruise around the broads I will display a "For Sale" sign. That way I can moor where I want for however length of time that suits me, knowing I am operating just inside the law. Del Boy had the right idea all along, "Tax in the Post" displayed in his three wheeler.
  14. Very surprising concerning the state of play at the moment with selling things. You would think if you offered 10% less of the asking price at the moment, the seller would jump for it. Obviously the buyer knew he was getting a good deal.
  15. Really! Are you telling me that no one have taken their 80% government covid 19 wage to enjoy the broads, knowing that a job is still waiting for them?

There will always be that stigma that attach to these people, they live of the land and stuff anyone else. You will get the good and the bad that live on the rivers, unfortunately the bad leaves a mark in peoples minds.
  17. I do wonder how many people are having paid holidays by the government to enjoy the broads?
  18. A classic reply to newspapers in my opinion.
  19. Really! The legal side of things does take the fun/reality of it all. I can remember many many years ago a programme/series portrayed lawyers as gunslingers but I can't remember what it was. If you can, it would be appreciated.
  20. It's called bedtime!
  21. There it was, and then it was gone, and then it was a house. I have to agree with Vaughan on this one and for me, it was a poor taste of words!
  22. It basically boils down to the fact that people think you are charging far too much for what you give. When you see that series that when landlords left their luxury cars and houses to live the life of one of their tenants, you might understand their perspective!
  23. Well the local authorities have said that anyone returning to any place that hasn't seen their taps running for a while now, need to let them flow for a few minutes due to possible legionnaires disease in the water.
  24. I noticed 1763 written on the batteries, I do feel the model making of BA originated from this date!
