After reading your post I decided to make a couple of cheese & bacon wraps for lunch today.

Two our our Canal crew both have hearing aids, like most people they have had to train themselves to ignore many background noises. They both have trouble with the earing aids if wearing hats with woolly hats being the worse for whistling on the earing aid.

The reports from Silverline customers are always very good, a friend of mine has hired from them on several occasions.

I seem to recall that was used by the Broads Authority a number of years ago as a base for one of their launches.

It is many years since we stopped and had a meal at the Jamaica Inn. The meal was OK be what touched me was the remoteness of the inn.

I always take mine with me on our visits to the Broads, they are invaluable to calculate passage through Yarmouth in conjunction with the Broads Authority tide tables on higher air draft vessels.

I agree Dartmouth is well worth a visit, we always used to go there during our holidays at Hope Cove. We struggled with trying to get parked in the small town carpark next to the park. After the out of town park and ride carpark was made it made getting into town far easier.

To be honest Ian I prefer Devon to Cornwall.

As soon as I saw the Spoiler Alert I left it alone, and watched the highlights. I suggest that forum members give it a day or so for people to see the highlights, watch on catch up etc.

I know that feeling well when I first took Ranworth Breeze on its second week back in 2001 over 30 years of hiring Narrow Boats counted for next to nothing now I was introduced to wind and tides. Steering the boat was not an issue, but mooring the boat always took several attempts so the boat was protected. It takes time to develop skills which only comes from experiences that we have. Nobody is perfect and at times we have all made mistakes and anyone who says otherwise are kidding themselves. I am glad you have a good week.
