  1. Hello Griff, You will find that nearly all the controls on an Audi are the same, with only a slight difference in the satnav. When I get a loaner whilst taking my S3 in for service it presents little issues. They have given me A3's, Q3's, Q5's and and a Q7 all with the basic settings. Regards Alan
  2. There is no short cut to reading the manual Carole.
  3. My car does 38 to 40 mph in comfort mode on the run to Norfolk.
  4. I always recommend no sprays of any kind they always leave a residue.
  5. WD40 should never be used on any form of electronics, as already stated it causes more problems than it fixes.
  6. A boring subject IMHO football should be dropped it has become big business with clubs not paying their way.
  7. Just had to replace our fridge a CXR50 usual sources in Brundall had no stock. I managed to get one from Peachment's £499 plus VAT.
  8. We arrived yesterday dropped of some of the gear to make room for food and drink for the week. On our return we started to stow the food and found that the fridge would not come on (replaced 2017). I tried to phone Alex to see if he put a separate fuse in circuit when he fitted it in 2017. I had to remove a cupboard door in order to tease it out of the housing. One out my meter measured 12 volts going into the into the fridge. Calls were needed to obtain another fridge Brian Wards were waiting for stock, so were JPC, tom mention Peachment's who had 6 in stock several zoggs later back at the boat and unpacked the fridge. it took about an hour and a half to change over the fridge door opening and fitting the fixing kit trim from the old fridge. Chris had been filling the water tanks, I switched on the gauges to see the progress of the filling which seemed to be rather slow I could hear running water so the hatches were open to see water running into the bilges. I phoned Alex again to see if he could call in to have a look, he was tied up on another job so it looked like I was going to be in the engine bay to find the leak. As I was going to collect the fridge I met up with Alex going down the marina, he finished his other job early so he would have a look. I returned with the fridge and Alex had already left, a o seal on the had failed plus another small leak. It was after 8 pm when we managed to eat. The joys of boating. I had been up from 4.00am so after our meal it was off to bed. Regards Alan
  9. Hi Mark, it looks like you are turning into MM. Regards Alan
  10. We are down from Monday and will access some of the local pubs to make sure they are not to busy, it will also depend on the weather. As normal some jobs to do, Alex has fitted the new aerial I just have to finish the wiring, Pat testing, and fully checking out the boat before any of my fellow owners have their allocations.

  13. Dear all, Update on sunken vessel on River Waveney (08 April) The sunken vessel on the River Waveney at Blundeston Marshes has shifted position and is now in the middle of the river causing a clear and obvious obstruction. It is currently marked with yellow buoys and is being checked on daily. The Authority is in communication with the owner of the vessel and given the hazard it is causing, we have contracted engineers to complete the removal operation before Monday 12 April. Further updates will be issued by the Authority as appropriate, thank you for your cooperation. 14. With the length of your cable and your intended load I would be more inclined to make up a 2.5 mm2 3 core cable.
  15. There is no doubt that road tax or an increase in electricity pricing will be levied to cover the lose in petrol/diesel revenue also there is also the VAT to take into consideration on these fuels which would also be lost

  17. Some lenses are interchangeable if the outer section and the inner section are in two parts. One thing to bear in mind is that the front and aft (white lights) are made at differing angles.

  19. Hello Ian, I do not know where David Emms keeps his boat, but he tends to service quite a quite a few boats on Tingdene Marina. Regards Alan
  20. Hello Ian I would avoid the bread buns in McD they used to have a 70% sugar content to encourage children to enjoy happy meals, maybe they have gone greener now.
  21. I have been known to have cheese & crackers rather than a pudding. You can keep the spirits but my mate Chris would agree to a small port.
  22. We now use David Emms for polishing Ranworth Breeze, he also did the anti foul. We used to use Peter & Jackie prior o his retirement.
