We are at Stracey heading for Yarmouth but we've heard that they are turning boats around as someone has gone overboard at GY yacht station and there is a search ongoing (14:30pm)...hope all ends well.

Love the Broads on Facebook is indicating a fatality sadly.

News reports of a major collision at the Yacht station all emergency services called.

4 ambulances, air ambulance, inshore rescue, fire and rescue, police in attendance

At least two people entered the water after two vessels collided by the White Swan.

Also reports of fire.

Hopefully a clearer overview of what exactly happened here is shared in due course, to prevent future accidents like this.

Unfortunately at 2pm I think the Bure will have had quite a flow on it.

From Facebook it seems northbound boats are being rafted up to the dolphins upstream of Breydon bridge.

No way anyone should fall in by hitting wall unless mooring. Hope this turns out alright

Yeah, that would be pretty horrendous (and dangerous)

Slack is at around 6 so perhaps there is an expectation the river will reopen later and give time for crews to reach Stracey?

BA Facebook now stating the Bure is open, but moorings as GYYS are full.

After a telephone conversationwith GY station we are moored at "Scare Gap" safety mooring for the night and will await further information tomorrow before proceeding South...or turn back and head North. A sad turn of events for those involved.

BBC news- One lady fell of a boat when it hit a wall whilst mooring.

No report of another boat or a fire taking place nor any news on the ladies condition.

We have always thought that looks like a nice place to spend the night. Never have of course.
