I thought the ( Broads Authority) Dredged out that Neatishead Staithe for better Depth for Cruisers and Sailing Boats that have got Keels underneath them. As for the paths that was  ill-thought out as loose Granite will damage the Fibra Glass and Wooden Boat decks the only way I can  suggest is to put a Door mat near your Boat

Land shoes and deck shoes and the changing between the two used to be commonplace when I was young. Along the South Coast at any rate, maybe we just got lazy, or modern waistlines make a simple task like changing shoes a chore.

We still do Chris, land shoes, deck shoes and always slippers when inside......despite my modern waistline!

New limestone/granite aggregate paths are a pain mind, although they do settle after a bit of weather and wear. I remember Ranworth being "improved" some years ago......same issue back then!

Still common on Chiltern Lady too, slip-ons essential though…😎

Skechers are currently marketing slip ins. The TV advert seems to suggest that modern youngsters living their busy lives don't have time to bend down and put their shoes on. Nothing about old 'uns who struggle though, but then they're probably too sensible to shell out £95.

Elastic shoelaces... having tried them as a complete sceptic I now think they're great.

Fit them once and any ordinary shoe becomes a slip on, they stretch as you insert your foot but always go back to a nice tight fit, although you can readjust them if necessary I've never had to.

It does seem a tad poor show if users of a mooring provided by the BA have to use special shoes because an unsuitable material has been used.. why are we jumping through hoops instead of getting the BA to use suitable materials?
