Hot Weather For September.

As you all may have seen the weather forecast for  September as we are having a late Indian Summer who ever is lucky to be on the Norfolk Broads now meaning while Griff is on the Broads lock up your drinks cabinets

On the weather this morning. A true Indian  summer. has to have a frost first.often September can be quite nice also.

We have spent the last six weeks camping in torrential rain and hurricanes (okay, slight exaggeration but not far off) We spent a week in a caravan near Breydon water, had two nice, warm days out of seven. Now we are back at work and school tomorrow and it's ruddy summer. Just typical   x

Know the feeling, back to work tomorrow and probably got a stack of stuff waiting for me.

We usually get an iraqi summer instead, partly sunni but mostly shiite.

I’m back to work tomorrow after a week off too. Annoying isn’t it. 
At least I only have three weeks left until FREEDOM! (Sorry, that was me shouting from the rooftops.)

That’s ok in Scotland then. I heard the forecast said 1•C last Saturday night in the highlands.

This was Cove yesterday at 6am, first hint of Autumn in the air. Back home now (just north of Nottingham) and a misty start to what looks lke being a smashing day. The leaves are just starting to darken on the Acers in the garden which is usually a sign that summer is drawing to a close.

As a kid, autumn's arrival was heralded by the lovely smell of coal fires, we called it Goose Fair Weather (traditionally first weedend in October)

I'm now back at work wishing you lot would sod off with your weather forecasts , at least I've managed to sort a van run for later in the week going fairly close to an outboard I need to collect,  sometimes work has its uses.

I've just said to the wife what a great week to be on the broads. Its what I miss about owning a boat. Just dropping everything and away we go.

Mind you, being retired completely means we can enjoy the sun in the garden (too nice to be at work).

Forget the week after.  We’re up for a week on 22nd so wet and windy is almost certainly guaranteed!

We're off to the boat later this morning for a week. Hoping very much that the weather holds as our heating is on the blink.
