I'll not deny his driving talent at all. His achievements speak for themselves. I just wish the fella was not such a tw*t. His attitude generally, some of the comments to his mechanics during the races, tries to send blame for any of his mistakes to things they should have told him or things they have done wrong! "Don't I look great on my scooter down the grid with three tons of gold around my neck". If you think so . . . . . . . . . .
What a riveting holiday tale you tell! There are the odd one or two "relaters" that I really look forward to and seek out, yours fall in this category. Thanks very much, especially for the accompanying artwork as well! Excellent job.
I actually posted asking about these expresso coffee pots on this thread!

I persevered with the pot and enjoyed the coffee although it did take me quite a few goes and trying quite a few different coffees before I was satisfied. But!!! It got to be a bit of a pallaver to do every morning and I actually found some "microground" instant coffee purely by mistake (I did actually think I was buying coffee for the expresso maker!! It made a very acceptable mug in seconds!!! I'm a lazy git at times!
Seems few ever mention Sanderson Marine at Reedham when this question comes up. I've never heard a bad word said about them and they are mid to lower range in price. Not mod con boats by any means but will provide a great holiday on the southern Broads.
Excellent combination of a bomb proof hull in the early builds. The thickness of mine had to be seen to be believed. However, the money swallowing aspects are the oh so handsome wooden topsides that can hoover up work and money at an alarming rate!
Plus, they do really need a wetshed mooring to help avoid exposure to the climates worst efforts. But a beatifull craft to own and cruise in.
Ahh! I guessed from the quality of some of the images that this wasn't the product of your typical happy snapper type of camera. Admirable work produced but its just a few quids worth more than I'd be happy investing. That is in no way at all a criticism, simply a personal observation and I do appreciate you giving us the opportunity of viewing images like this, Thanks very much for the response.
Constellation 1 became "Mister Toad" which I was a cats wisker from buying until the survey! She was priced around £25k and reduced to £4K, sold and, I think, removed from The Broads. Was a lovely layout for a cruiser of that size and I was really smitten!
Hope Craig does not mind the loan of a photo!
But its not a glowing what a wonderful website we have statement is it? Won't do seemingly! The veneer of loveliness is cracking!
In all seriousness, in some of the discussions recently the general tone has been a tad harsh on occasion.
I also love these boats, when we were first browsing Blakes and Hoseasons brochures back in the very early 70's these appeared to be the "Rolls Royce" of the boats on offer. Described as being fitted with "luxurious axminster carpets"! We could never afford one sadly being on student nurse wages and settled for "Spitfire" a lovely small woodie with a rear cockpit and a huge gear lever we had to take out if leaving the boat!.
Another big bonus about Brundall that has yet to be mentioned is Brian Ward's chandlery! Tanya and Nick will always try and source items for you even if they don't stock tham. Great advice as well.
" brand new Vitesse 2.0 litre convertible "
I'd be cursed with nightmares for life if I had committed such a terrible sin as writing one of these beauties off!
I suspect something like this must happen at Martham where they have the only "boat graveyard" that I've ever seen. A lot of DIY work goes on there as well.
