  1. Has anyone got any idea what is happening with the BB webcam? I have just tried to connect to it and got the message " page not found . " I then tried to find it on the list under "our cameras" and it is not listed there Has someone nicked it I wonder? Jeff

  5. Prior to the revamp of the forum there was a section where you could look up details of members including being able to send a personal message. I cannot find this facility now and wondered if it has been discontinued or am I not looking in the right place? Jeff
  6. When I first started coming down to the Broads just over 50 years ago we would always find things that had been "lost" from boats, fenders, mops, boat hooks etc. We would collect these items and hand them in to the boatyard at the end of our holiday. I remember being told at one boatyard that at the end of the season all the boatyards would get together at a large empty warehouse-type building and take all "found" items The boatyard owners would have a look around at everything and claim back anything that they could recognise as theirs Does anyone know if this sort of arrangement still exists? Jeff. .

Last time I was there they had a kid's play area outside including a double decker play bus. It's time you paid them a visit Grace, my wife says the carvery was one of the best she has ever had. Jeff
  17. I think someone should mention these times to all boatyards with regards to changeover days........ £1000 per boat would work out a bit expensive for servicing engines and charging batteries ready for the next hirer. Jeff

  20. Jonzo, I had the same thought as you did so had a quick look using the link. At the bottom of the page it shows a copyright date of 2016 !? Jeff
  21. Robin , I am surprised by your comments re black bin bags and other plastic bags being dumped here, there and everywhere. Don't you know that we are all being encouraged to use paper bags instead of plastic ones..........it's better for the environment as they rot quicker so there is a chance the contents will do the same. Jeff
