addicted
Love the parrot. Once had an Alexandrine who was called Ollie. the most exquisite bird, with a temperament of a centipede with gout! He hated everything that breathed except for me. When he was ill he even took medicine from the palm of my hand although it didn't save him sadly. We also had a cockatoo named Kayleigh who hated men except for Tony. She caught out many a man by saying in the most seductive of tones "come on Darling" and stepping back from the bars of her cage until their fingers were nicely through the bars and then wallop a good nip. My daughter's boyfriends all still bear the scars! She was well over 70 when she died Then there was Joe the African Grey who used to wind up visiting dogs by promising "Walkies" in Barbara Woodhouse's voice. I miss them all.
