  1. That’s what I thought - Royalls using the wet shed there - my dad was friendly with the Royalls and we used keep our boat there in the winter. We summered in Horning.
  2. Never felt too narrow or shallow to me either...
  3. I thought someone was going to suggest creating a cut between the Bure and Yare, now that would be a project!
  4. Well, I suppose he did take off his coat
  5. Just love the contrasting clothing between ‘im an’ ‘er! He is still wearing his gauntlets in the “boat”...
  6. I have thought about this occasionally when on board (those were the days!). Acle - Bridgecraft - Tower Bridge, Chelsea Bridge etc - a good mix of well maintained boats...oh no too late someone’s already done that. Maybe located in Ranworth - Norfolk Boats - Norfolk This and Norfolk That etc with a good mix of well maintained boats...

Another pic from “Beast from the East” winter. She survived it ok!
  8. That’s great news, looking forward to hearing more... oh yes and welcome aboard!
  9. Snooze and you lose, same as Donny did on the day 1-0 to Leeds☹️
  10. Good job you were there, or there would have been only 15,000 - played Leeds 1st April 2008 at Keepmoat. Can you remember the score?
  11. Same for me on Chiltern Lady. Also find the antenna finder app helpful for pointing it in the right direction😎
  12. Thank you, always enjoy playing West Ham when we’re in the same division. BTW I know Doncaster’s record attendance at both their homes...
  13. Hurray! Can’t wait to get out and use them.
  14. Yep, well I think so, it always seems to be full when I look
  15. I just googled “Evening Light boat” and came up with a few tripadvisor posts along with some forum posts. I don’t know if that is what you are looking for, but it’s a start! Hope that helps.
  16. Yep I did, bit of a marathon from 09.20 to 16.00 then the GP! Don’t know how I got away with it!!
  17. £77k, I think that may have been for Go West, which was a used boat. The first new one I saw had a navy blue hull and was priced at £98k, the next one was £120k. They were day boats with overnight capability i.e. heads with shower, galley with hob, oven? and fridge. The settee converted like a sofa bed into a large double. Finish was good, nice soft furnishings and plenty of nice little touches. Could be a modern version of the Hampton Safari if they can sell enough.
  18. We, this year, changed our old Webasto for a Planar 4Kw heater. The fittings weren’t an exact match, but with some help from Paul (Muddy Waters) it is working really well. Cost around £600 and with good back up from the UK based distributors. Check them out - google Planar Heaters UK - hope that helps!
