 Looks like we did the right thing booking 'Absolute Freedom' last week.  The weather was mostly warm and sunny.

Fingers crossed it all subsides by the weekend otherwise we will be having a week on the Ant with Swan Ranger!

I'm sure you'll be fine! its probably more due to the wind direction in the North Sea and the moon. looks like rain on Friday but I don't think it has so much effect. The tidal variation isn't quite as severe on the Northern rivers I don't think. If the worst comes to the worst you can always moor at Neatishead and spend the time in the White Horse

See if they have eurosport so you can watch live BSB on Sunday, and hopefully on a massive screen too?.

Wells this morning,    2 hrs to high tide.     The tide is creeping across the car park much to this fascination of the local population.

I certainly saw the bottom right hand photo on a couple of the Facebook groups last night. I think it was taken at Surlingham Ferry.

It was indeed taken at the Ferryhouse Inn Surlingham, it has been flooded in that location a number of times.

I cant see the picture from work as its probably off somewhere thats blocked, but if its the one i saw on facebook last night, no its not me, though even my daughter remarked on the passing resemblance (bald, beard, shorts)

Have the water levels receded ? hoping to go South tomorrow

You can go through Yarmouth at any time - but whether your boat will go depends on its clearance!! IF you are going through around slack, my guess is that there will be plenty of room - but it depends on your air draught! Any doubts ring the Yacht Station - they can give a better idea than Forumites living away from the area!!!

PH currently looks to be 6 foot at low tide

I didn’t ask about the passage through Yarmouth I am confident of my boat height and ability, what I would like to know is are the rivers likely to receed once we are south.

As I need to get under ph first any other bridge is academic.

Today's HW at Potter Bridge this afternoon was 5' 3" as indicated by the upriver gauge.

It appears to me that river levels have dropped considerably overnight. Here’s hoping they are now going to get back to ‘normal’.

doen't look like at wroxham,  as  a guide i look at the bit of fence to the left of the bridge, if the bottom plank is covered its too high for me to get under (6'6")and it is underwater this morning

Some riverbank that was under water at Womack yesterday evening at high water was not under at high this morning, maybe it hasn’t filtered up to Wroxham yet.  I shall remain optimistic! 😁
