grendel
This morning, and while the crew sleep, I am up at 6.30, bread is now proving in a warmed oven, that will be 30 - 40 minutes, then it will be split into roll sized chunks proved again and then cooked for about 25 minutes, so we will have fresh bread rolls for breakfast. Late departure today means plenty of time to cook bread. We are just heading upriver from surlingham ferry Inn into norwich
Vaughan
Why the late departure? Nothing to do with the night before, I trust? I have tasted your bread before. Worth waiting for!
grendel
We actually left at 9.30, breakfast on the move, we are now at Norwich yacht station, some are off shopping, others will be hitting the showers. We are here for the day now, so pubs or cinema tonight or other entertainment.

BroadAmbition
Overnight at GYA. Easy moorings, good facilities. Found a new pub called ‘The Fallen Angel’. Beer was surprisingly well priced. Sailing shortly for Thurne Dyke. Yet again grey / overcast / windy. At least it’s not raining- for now Griff 5

BroadAmbition
Rant #1 Two hire boats moored on the water point moorings at Ludham Bridge for overnight where it clearly stars moorings for water only. Rant #2 Two private Motor boats moored overnight on the demasting mooring areas at Ludham Bridge where it clearly states no mooring. In both cases there are alternative moorings available albeit a tad further away Griff
vanessan
And I bet there’s a large cruiser moored at the restricted moorings too - the one that says ‘boats under 20ft’, there usually is!

Broads01
I'm impressed how you've managed to hire from HW for 8 nights, very non-standard. Did they do that for the price of a standard week?
