BrundallNavy
Quick update on RT’s progress, She has had 3 coats of undercoat and 1 coat of cream gloss, the green antifoul has also had 1 coat with the line taken further down the hull instead of tar varnish that she had before. The engine is now back in and mostly connected up. Next up is a coat of stain and varnish for the top sides and finish of the trackmark. launch date is getting close. Edited June 22, 2018 by brundallNavy Forgot the photos. 14
ExSurveyor
Another stunning boat, Although I trained as a specialist timber surveyor many many moons ago I don't think I have the skill , patience and time to achieve what you guys and girls do. Hats off to you all.

OK, I have to admit that I'm a bit emotional sat here. Thank you, Doug and thanks to everyone who has given up their time and energy to help with RT and listen to my terrible Goon Show impressions! I can hear Uncle Albert pestering 'When can we go?' and wanting a whiskey! Thank you all! 8

BroadAmbition
Wtere are the sails? Used in many clean up operations - they are normally referred to as rags! Griff 3

Victoryv
So, sat on my lovely wooden boat looking at a glass of malt whisky about the age that I learnt to drive, I know how wonderfully fortunate I am. The fact is ,to get RT to Beccles needs a fair bit of graft. I for one am up for another go, and feel sure that one or two that experienced the first weekend are feeling the same. So Doug , What’s the chance ? Cant believe as a self employed old grump, I am offering my somewhat restricted talents for free. must be something in the Norfolk water ( read beer )
ExSurveyor
Really need to get Timbo afloat and occupied, The Devil makes work for idle hands, Who knows what he might get involved in if he isn't afloat 1

socrates
Great to see another wooden boat nearing "completion", well done all concerned. We are just waiting for the windows to be fitted and we will be afloat.
VetChugger
Absolutely love these threads and watching the gradual rebirth of these magnificent boats. Lots of pictures please, also from Socrates and "Broadland Grebe".
Malanka
So close Guys, amazing transformation. Timbo you're not going to know what to do with yourself once she's floating. Tip for the future: Don't moor at Percy's Island slap bang in the middle...I still have nighmares over the sickening crunching sound. Very happy to see RT being brought back to full health.
