grendel
I thought we should perhaps start a new thread for this - so here it is. I dont think there is a prize - other than wearing the crown for smartass of the week. we start with LondonLad 1985 Quote I'm gonna open the bidding at 1700 litres. This is based on what I have gleaned from the last 30 pages of this thread... without looking back through it though. I will add my guess at 1925 litres
Snowy
I’ll go in the middle of those two guesses, 1,

Londonlad1985
Yes OK sorry I've posted again on the old thread! ... getting a bit over excited haha To clarify 1700L total divded equally so 425L per leg then I don't want to get complicated. I feel Grendal is going to be a bit more scientific!

BroadAmbition
To give you some sort of guide - but not help - Normal cruising speed is estimated to be a max of 12kts, that is 12kts over the ground. If the tidal stream assist us and we can slow the donkeys down to decrease fuel consumption then we probably will do. It's all very well opening her up and having a bit of a thrill but that won't do Robins pocket any good. Having said that, if Breydon has Bath-Tubs a plenty - then 22kts with a huge stern wave - Here we come, and I'll pay for the extra diesel used mysen ! Griff I suspect that won't be all your paying for just remember the boat is not broads registered and is unlikely to have a short visit toll on it hence the bravado needs putting on the back burner , attracting the interest of BA will not help the vessels owner
