You can always keep track on here https://one.network/ Its linked to the County Highways register of roadworks - There is nothing booked so far in next 3 months in the Wroxham area
Andrewcook
Is these Road work people like Charlie Brown stopping for his Tea, / Lunch Breaks to get this Road works done 😆
TheQ
There are cones in all directions on the roads to the NDR / Coltishall - Norwich road roundabout....
Regulo
End of financial year approaches - cue roadworks begun to secure funds for the next year. It happens every year, in every county.

Doing the same as they were at the St Faiths / Airport roundabout - re-applying road markings so a lane out at a time each way. OK in the mornings but were some delays in evening rush. Suspect it'll keep moving on one roundabout at a time as long as necessary
TheQ
Only one lane available in all directions at the coltishall road / NDR roundabout this morning.. Absolute chaos on the boundary road last night with long queues in all directions..
TheQ
The cones and road works signs on the NDR at Coltishall road round about have been moved to the side of the road / taken down.. However the frames for holding the signs are still up.. This suggests they've taken them down for the duration of Dudley and Eunice, I note that the seaweed inspectors are saying more storms next week so it could be delayed longer.. SwanR
Picked this up on a local Facebook group. More Anglian Water repairs have been announced on the Norwich Road for this Wednesday & Thursday. They are coming back to replace the road surface which was reinstated incorrectly following the recent big hole and horrendous delays. marshman
Begs the question, why they cannot manage to do the reinstatement correctly first time around - hope its not going to be the same gang again!! Might have to dig it up again!!!!!
BrundallNavy
I did say they had installed speed humps
BroadAmbition
If they have the time and resources tin install speed humps then why do they not have the time / resources to fill in pot holes? Griff
SwanR
There aren’t really any speed humps … not that I’ve noticed anyway.
TheQ
Yep they're back the traffic lights round the former big hole, no sign of starting work yet and with the torrential rain this morning I expect the works to over run.. SwanR
Thought I could hear it raining. Just checked the forecast. I had thought maybe I would have a walk before I start work … that’s clearly not going to happen.
RumPunch
They'd excavated about 5 inches below the surface ready for re-dressing yesterday. Hopefuly a quick fix. Anyone know what the ones in Rackheath are about on the Wroxham Road ?
TheQ
Well they fixed the road hump now it's like driving over a ploughed field.
TheQ
They obviously like returning road works.. Stalham Tescos junction to the A149 just on the Potter side by Macarthy and Stone housing for the misinformed, the traffic lights have reappeared.. garryn
It looks like they are repairing a water leak. I noticed water running out of the edge of the pavement on Thursday when I went past.

SwanR
Picked this up over on Facebook. Looks like the possibility of a week of delays on the Acle Straight repairing damage from Storm Eunice. https://www.edp24.co.uk/news/traffic/acle-straight-roadworks-to-repair-storm-eunice-damage-8727256?fbclid=IwAR2VQkq6B27oMAByn09fIm-souuV4ebEk8DihqY00sy3MnrXj1n5WgdbLG8
Jbx5
Traffic lights and single lane over Wroxham bridge. A big hole is being dug Wroxham side. Quite a hold up either side of bridge. John
TheQ
it doesn't surprise me the side track there (Bure Close) has been flooding with water from the ground for some weeks.. So home via Coltishall tonight... Meanwhile the road works just the Potter side of Stalham Tescos junction have gone, But I note there are now blue marks on the road / pavement on the petrol station side of that junction, probably indicating future work...
marshman
They do seem to have finished the hole - just driven past and the hole appears to have been filled in although hard to see as I went past. But as ever the lights still there and three way, to include Bure Close as if, but although there are no workmen left, the lights management people still reading newspapers in the cab of their truck and waiting to see how long the queue gets!!! With a bit of luck should be cleared pretty soon - but you know what these people are like!!!
