Smoggy
Congrats Ian, what names has it had in past lives? Looks just like the hire boat that sent me down the path of moneylessness. That would have been Dainty gem back in 2000.
Cal
Congratulations. Looks like a lovely boat. Think our old boat Naughty-Cal is moored in Broads Edge. Give her a wave from us if you see her

DAVIDH
Congratulations Ian. Seems fitting to have a new boat to enter a new phase of your life. I'm guessing the repaint will be all blue, what with your inexplicable love of a certain football team?

Actually, Mermaid has had that name for a long time - Circa 1989!

Gracie
Sorry Ian I've only just seen this thread. Belated congratulations to you and Marina on your new boat, she's a proper cutie but I think red and white would be a better choice of colours x

Just get down to the southern rivers and moor outside The Beauchamp Arms. It’ll blend in better than this tasteful number!!
ExSurveyor
Special offer on bright yellow paint at B and Q last week. On the plus side, it won't need navigation lights.
