What Has Happened To The Summer?

Here in Norfolk it is blooming freezing cold and lunchtime in Worlingham we had heavy rain,  I mean what is going on?    I looked at the web cam for West Bay in Dorset and everyone is in shorts and Tee shirts.      I am thinking of putting the heating on.:default_smiley-angry047:

I took my boys to a sea front cafe for breakfast this morning and then a walk along the beach, it was a tad breezy and chilly to say the least. One of those windy days when you take two steps forward and then ten back, took me ages to get home :default_biggrin: x

It's my fault... for the first time ever I decided to try growing some veg from seed. It was hot while I was away and couldn't water them and since I got back it's winter again. They will all die soon so it'll be summer again.... sorry! 😁

Just buy your veg from the supermarket and go away more often x :default_biggrin:

I was in St Ives, Cambridge, yesterday and the weather was gorgeous. Roof down all the way there and back.

And my part of Hertfordshire (near Watford) was lovely most of the weekend, we were out in the garden relaxing in the sun for most of it.

Sounds like a normal Saturday night out for you 😘😄

I think the weather folk have got their maps muddled up just now .  It's almost tropical here in Bonnie Scotland the last coup!e of days .

Very strange . The polar bears up here are not happy 🤗

It’s becoming a bit of a habit for Scotland to have better weather than us southerners in May. It’s happened every year since my son bought a house up there a few years ago.

I remember last year in that dreadful heat how uncomfortable it was. If you get cold you can put extra layers on or cuddle up under a duvet but in that heat you just can't get out of it especially at night which makes it difficult to sleep too. Much prefer the colder months and Spring can be lovely

You cheeky beggar :default_biggrin:

Now come on Neil, we all know you don't have polar bears up in wee bonnie Scotland, it's grizzly bears and you well know it :default_eusa_naughty:

A few years ago now when we went to Scotland my youngest was terrified the grizzlies might get him. I had to gently explain there were none where we were going only the Loch Ness monster. That didn't seem to help much :default_biggrin: x
