Move moored boats to fill the empty spaces and create the space for the houseboats.

It’s possible that some of the berth holders craft are still on the hard, awaiting being put back in the water.
ShireMan
Still not much visibly happening at The Yare, presume Brooms managed to buy it at auction as one of their vehicles inside the fencing. Rather disappointed that Michael’s green estate car wasn’t included in the auction, won’t be the same without it parked outside. Maybe a whip-round to buy similar and park it there? 😉😂
Mouldy
It’s common knowledge now that Broom have bought it and are carrying out renovations before it reopens in the summer. Not sure whether it went to auction or was the subject of a private sale. There was an article in the EDP about it recently. We understand that it will be renamed The White Heron. Not only has the green estate car gone, but the rumour is that the table covered in paperwork will also disappear! 😉

Just thinking about that table with all the paperwork on it, and wondering if they deliberately left it there as a sort of talking point? Velo500
Biggest improvement for me would be to get rid of the tripping hazard at the entrance.

Mouldy
The toilets should’ve been top of the list for a refresh. Obviously can’t speak for the ladies, but the gents was a looooong way short of salubrious.

Some people ave thier own ways of handling administration and I would guess he just didn't like being shut away in an office; probably scared of missing something going on in the pub. DAVIDH
Most of the falls were as a result of the step up to the tables beside the windows. The light from them seemed to blind people as they headed towards them.

annv
Hi Vaughan Does France still have joint toilets, remember many years ago sitting in one when two women cam in they chattered away six to the dozen when it suddenly went quirt, it still have a chuckle over the incident. Vaughan
Some of the old country restaurants still do but they are normally separate now. The French have become quite civilised in some ways, but not in others! They still go around supermarkets with a small hairy dog sitting in the trolley among the food. I notice those people seem to be the only ones who still wear a mask, for fear of catching something! 4
