Regulo
My pet hate is "secERtary" not "secREtary". And apostrophe catastrophes. And people who start sentences with "and". Err . . . !

Mouldy
Poor grammar and I know mine is far from perfect but 'should of' is not the correct abbreviation of should have (should've), your used instead of you're etc. You get the general idea? jeffbroadslover
All this makes me wonder why do English teachers get paid so much for NOT doing their job properly? Jeff
MauriceMynah
Shouldn't that be "NOT doing their JOBS properly? Sorry, couldn't resist that one. :)
DaveTatts
Shouldn't that be "NOT doing their JOBS properly? Mr M . . . may I remind you to close your speech-marks ( " ) once they've been 'opened' . . . ;-)
ExSurveyor
The official spokesperson who peppers every sentence with, "you know", NO, I am listening to you because You are supposed to impart information in a clear and concise manner to me. If I knew I would not be wasting my time listening to you mangle the English language.

MauriceMynah
A nice response I've heard to "Do you take plastic?" is "Yes, but we don't often give it back.." The "Can I Get..." is one that always makes me cringe, along with "Off of"... though I suppose I'd rather hear someone saying they got off of the bus, than they got off on the bus! Too much information. :) Text speech (sic) is another I dislike. It made perfect sense in the days of SMS (Short message system), things like "L8er" were quite clever in their own way, but have no place on any other form of communication.
Polly
As a former English teacher, of the not overpaid variety, I spent half my life correcting the errors we have mentioned. I did derive a lot of enjoyment from the 'he goes/she goes' (said) expression. I would be receiving a long complaint about some contretemps or other, and would ask 'Where?' when this was used, to the bewilderment of the complainant. 'Where did he/she go?' 'Nowhere, Miss.' 'Oh you mean said.' It used to interrupt the flow beautifully, and I got a grammar point across into the bargain. Evil.
