Anyone Fancy A Trip Under Potter Bridge?

We need some bodies to help weigh down Finale who is currently the wrong side of Potter Bridge and needs to come through on the evening tide tomorrow (about 20 30).

She was just an inch shy this evening and with the tides now on their next cycle our last chance is tomorrow evening (the 2nd). She goes at 6'6" and we had just under that this evening with 6'6" expected tomorrow.

If anyone is about and fancies a trip under Potter we would love to see you at the upstream moorings at 20.00.

The more the merrier, she's a big old girl so there's plenty of room.

So, Friday the 2nd August 20.00 behind the chippy. Bring your camera's, it's going to be close!!!

Here's Finale..

30 years ago when I worked the Bridge Inn bar it was a common request for a skipper wanting a bit of extra ballast to invite the pub patrons on a boat trip albeit a short but exciting one.

Wishing all aboard a successful passage!

Sadly Norada isn't attracting enough ballast these days.

much as I would love to (and could have added another 20 odd stone) I am not headed up until Tuesday, plus I have a prior engagement teaching kids astronomy tonight so wont even make the quiz. good luck in the venture and I am sure you will succeed.
