No Roy it’s not been used for a bowling green for at least  25 years as I know.

We stayed in one of the turret rooms in the Red Lion some years back on a wander from pub to pub along the Norfolk Coast. We ended up at the Christmas show at Thursford. Red Lion had both decent food and ale.

Don't think its as bad as it was but we have had quite a bit of rain this week so wouldn't be surprised much if it comes back up again - thats the nature of having more rain!!!

An amazing photograph. I have never witnessed the like. However when I was a young boy we were never told, or would see photographs. No TV, no internet, of little importance. It happened and had no impact, presumably they just got on with it. 

It was a natural phenomenon throughout Broadland. The Thorpe marshes, Acle marshes, Beccles marshes, Geldeston marshes.........flooded.

Well got stuck with this in southern Denmark this week, on the way back from the pub to the hotel. Still got back to CPH for my flight back home to: silly uncle Fred.  👍🏻

If we had that much snow the whole country would be at a standstill, schools closed , no trains.   People told to stay at home.

I stand corrected , Management here tells me that it was a South Westerly and not an Easterly.     Just as well and may be the Broads will start to recover.

Definitely a South Westerly! Blowing from the end of Faircraft Loynes yard. Fair bit of creaking but after a few St Giles gins Mrs Nog is sleeping like the proverbial top
