I saw The Eagles live at Wembley in 1996. Just about to book tickets for them in Hyde Park next summer

It's being reported in the other place that the WRC will no longer offer moorings to hire craft. Another kick in the b...s for hirer's. Its getting silly now.

I think they may be referring to the reciprocal free moorings.  I believe you can still pay for a visitor mooring, although like many others I won’t be taking them up in it.

the totem pole wild mooring just upstream would be my choice.

I heard this week that the winter maintenance to the day boats was stopped, it doesn’t look like they will be available for hire this year.

Some have said that there is a public staithe there.. With an access road, maintained by the local council, through the site.

Nor me.  Looking at it as we went past last year, folk were nearly camping in the back of moored boats!  I prefer somewhere that’s a little less crowded, personally.
