Google the bit you need and put USA after it.  Spares in The States are a fraction of the cost here and most good suppliers DHL world wide. 

The Z3 was BMW first car never to be built in Germany, they were built in South Carolina, it was designed for The States and loads were sold there. Americans will not be ripped off on parts. I know quite a few owners who shop Stateside for parts of models that sold there well MGA/B, TRs. Spitfire etc.

If it is an EV eventually it will catch BN out and leave him stranded, or worse, become worthless as a part exchange as replacement highly polluting batteries will be more expensive to replace that the value of the vehicle.   I've been hearing news locally that some dealers are now refusing to take in EV's as part exchange due to the liability of battery replacement

has anyone noticed the trend, first petrol drivers were encouraged to get diesel as it was greener and more economical- until enough people had taken it up, then it was decided it wasnt greener, now we are being encouraged to buy EV's as they are greener and cost less to run (well until the price of electricity went through the roof anyway) yet it is well known that the production of the batteries is hardly a green process........

Good to know that Chargemaster, who operate EV charging stations across the UK, have been bought by BP.  I guess that as fossil fuels are phased out, they need to maintain a means to extort the public, when they already generate unimaginable profits.

There's plenty of specialists who repair EV batteries and swap out just the faulty module (which is usually the problem).

Much like you don't just buy a new boat because your old one needs a new gearbox, people usually repair battery packs.

My business partner bought a diesel car about 7 years ago, due to government encouragement to be green.

It is still a lovely car, pristine and mechanically sound with loads of life left in it - except ....

He has just had to sell it and get a new car because it is not the newer Euro 6 engine but Euro 5, so isn't London ULEZ compliant for the extended Zone being introduced this year.

What a f....ng waste of money and resources, which is hardly environmentally friendly is it ?!?**!?*!

How many years and miles will it take to recoup the energy and materials cost of the new car just to break even environmentally - if ever. Notwithstanding the dirty battery production and disposal process of his new (EV) car.

Madness, just madness.

I knew someone who used an ejector seat and ended up shorter, I told him they're not suitable for helicopters....

No it’s definitely British.  Opened rear passenger door light comes on, close door light stays on. Open door light on close door light still on, turn off car and restart light goes off.  Number 2. Start car dash all lit. Put car into drive dash goes blank, turn off car and restart dash comes back on into drive and dash stays on what the flip !!!!

Close the storage box between the front seats and the cup holder lid pops open 😳

At least it proves it was built in Castle Bromwich 🤣

I had a work mate who's glove box fell down when the door was shut a bit hard. Think it was a discovery.

Reminds me of a Vauxhall Frontera that I was once considering as a company car. I was given the car over a weekend by way of a test drive and decided to take it "off-road" to test it's capabilities. I got 2 wheels onto the grass and the overhead interior light popped out of its mounting and ended up dangling on its cables next to my left ear. Needless to say, I chose a Citroen XM instead.

“The car in front, is a Vauxhall Frontera”... except it was, only for a while, because it was unreliable, and then broken down at the side of the road, with traffic passing. Vauxhall ecu’s don’t seem to be mounted in the best location, I’m on my second one and from a different model and I wonder how many have gone to the scrapyard in the sky because the dealer Ecu replacement cost sends it there.

Collected the new carbon fibre thermostat housing with platinum thermostat earlier this week. 

(Turned out that £98 price tag included the vat) I was gonna fit it today, however we didn't finish clay shooting till 1230, then I had to visit a client for estimate measuring etc, then had to go off to Ferrybridge services to hand over a perspex wind deflector that was surplus to requirements I had sold.  By the time that lot was done and I arrived home it was too late in the day to commence the cooling system flushing so it'll have to wait to tomorrow afternoon now, weather permitting

Rather than go in my 'GriffTile' van I drove to Ferrybridge in Zebedee, this a round trip of about 80-ish miles from my gaff, the furthest run to date. Enjoyed the run tremendously, although the radio picks up limited stations. Must remember to drag out our vintage cassette collection and pick a few and get the CD changer thingy loaded up.

At 70mph the engine is doing 3'200rpm, way toooooo high. I am of the opinion that Zebedee needs a sixth gear or cog five replacing with a taller one to drop down the revs for motorway cruising. I'll look into this one and report back in due course

Whilst I was out delivering, in my absence my Lad deep cleaned / detailed / ceramic polished the whole of Zebedee (I knew he'd come in handy for sommat or t'other one day), he's done a fine job too and steed is now looking her best.

I did get the Gods Country Rose 3D gel self adhesive number plate badges put on. The front one looks worse than crap due to the fixing screw location. Now of course I need a new set of plates - self adhesive ones. It seems like everytime I get an upgrade / farkle sorted, there is another un to add to the list  I'll soon have gone over the £1k mark spent on that blooming list.

The Gods Country number plate badges. For those of you that reside in Yorkshire, hail from Yorkshire (Or wish you did ) then I have a few pairs available. I searched around online for an age trying to find some, failed so had to do a minimum order and get some made up. 'MrsG stated I must not put any on her Q5 (She being a Jock-ess) I put a pair on months ago now, she still hasn't noticed them or is giving them a damn fine ignoring too
