It's All Going To The Dogs

Well,

The next chapter begins.  Due to the Covid lark we got Purdey home earlier for about 1900 than was originally planned as not the same distance to travel.

For the first half hour she was sat on my lap in our Dales car then transferred over to the travel cage in the estate boot where she was fine.  We stopped a couple of times to check on her, fresh water and treat doggy biscuits administered.

Car travelling was fine, no sickness or whining

At Home?  She took to MrsG immediately as of course up to now all she has known her Mum / granny dog, eight siblings and her breeder Ann.  Tea and fresh water offered and gratefully wolfed down.  Then she found the garden - Great fun, took to that immediately especially MrsG's much loved plants.  As is the norm with Puppys it's half hour of full on madness then two hours sleeping.  She is ridiculously cute as you would expect (Purdey is not bad either)

Purdey has already had a proper argument with herself when she saw her own reflection in the conservatory doors - Proper funny was that one.

This little dog has some huge boots to fill. She has to follow on from Candie, Dusty and Macie dogs,  both as a working dog, boat crew and family pet.  Tomorrow she will meet some of the family / grandkids.

£1800:00 Sofa surfing? - That's a definite No No (As is sleeping upstairs and drinking out of the toilet).  I'll let MrsG off with those ones seeing as I've been away for eight days but Purdey? -  MrsG insisted on treating her for her first night in Gods Country

Tomorrows breakfast will be goats milk / weetabix and scrambled egg - That's for me of course!

It's about 2325 I'm up here in t office, I can hear MrsG having lessons with Purdey:-

"Hey that's my wool, get off my slippers, you little Madame" etc etc

Followed by puppy growls and yapping (That was MrsG)

I so miss Macie dog / Dusty and Candie but life goes on
